SelectTap an annotation to move, recolour, resize, or delete it. Drag its handles to reshape.
TextPlaces a text label. Tap to type; empty labels are discarded.
DrawFreehand ink for circling or sketching.
LengthDrag a measured line. Short bars mark each end. Enter a value and pick a unit (mm, m, in, ft) — the number rides alongside the line.
MeasureAuto-measures real size from a calibrated camera. Set a scale once (pick a camera + enter distance), then draw a line for length or an area for a polygon — the value is computed for you. Double-tap a measurement to change its unit.
Calibrate cameraIn Measure, open Cameras… to teach the tool your camera. Photograph an object of known width at several known distances, mark it on each, and save. Reuse the saved camera on any photo — no ruler needed in the shot.
NoteA leader line from a point to a text label. The line meets the label on its near side, so it always points cleanly at the target.
PolygonTap to drop corners; use Close shape to finish. Shade an area or ring a region.
AngleDraw one side from the corner, then the second. The measured angle is written in the arc.
NumberDrops auto-incrementing markers for a legend or defect schedule. Set a prefix (e.g. B) and the counter continues B1, B2, B3. Clear all resets the count.
DefectTags with a severity colour. Build your own list of defect types and materials; they're remembered between sessions.
QRDrops a scannable code onto the photo — enter a link, then tap to place. Uses the current ink colour and the S/M/L size. Double-tap to change the link. Pale colours are drawn in black so the code still scans.
Options
FillOn the text-bearing tools, toggles the solid backing behind text. Off swaps it for a crisp outline so the photo shows through while staying readable.
Colour · CurrentIn Defect, "Current" keeps the swatch you already picked instead of forcing the severity colour.
DividerDrops a straight rule across the photo — handy for splitting a composite shot.
Clear allRemoves every annotation on the current photo only. Undoable.
Start overWipes all photos and annotations and returns to a blank session.
Getting around
Zoom & panPinch or scroll to zoom; drag with two fingers, or use the +, fit, − buttons. Fit re-centres the photo.
PasteAdds an image copied to the clipboard as a new photo. Press Ctrl/Cmd+V, or use the Paste button. Phones will ask for clipboard permission the first time.
PhotosThumbnails along the bottom switch between loaded photos. Everything is saved on this device automatically — nothing is uploaded.
